Richard Guy
Still not sure what he wants to do when he grows up, Richard has been involved in a wide variety of theatres:
Agriculture - Born and raised on a farm, agriculture has underpinned many ventures. Has been farming nearly 2,000 acres with wife, Gilly and daughter, Frankie who is now taking the farm over.
Real Meat Company - In 1986, co-founded (with Gilly) the UK's first ever brand dedicated to Welfare, Purity and Quality. Transformed attitudes to farm animal welfare and food safety and quality.
Hay Hutch - In 1995, co-invented (with Gilly) a novel device for protecting paddock fed hay for horses. Still selling well in the UK although European markets were abandoned post Brexit.
Agri-Broadband - In 2015, devised and marketed a method of getting fast broadband into challenging rural locations.
Richard lives at East Hill Farm on Salisbury Plain with his wife and business partner, Gilly. They have two daughters. Frankie who had now taken over as the Tenant of East Hill Farm. Virginia is a Counselling Psychologist.
